Sarah Searls is vice president of ecommerce at Choice Hotels. In this role, she is responsible for leading business development and driving revenue through Choice’s propriety channels, including ChoiceHotels.com, mobile app, and emerging products. Searls also oversees the company’s vacation rentals business, Vacation Rentals by Choice Hotels.

Searls joined Choice Hotels in 2009 as the first member of the company’s newly formed business intelligence division and has since held positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to serving in her current role, Searls was vice president of performance analytics. During her successful tenure, Searls has notably led the development and implementation of several new modeling tools and analytic processes related to marketing, revenue management, and web analytics.

Prior to Choice, Searls worked at AOL, where she served in key corporate development roles and led a global marketing analysis group. Searls began her career in the political sector, working on presidential campaigns and related committees. Searls earned her bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University and a master’s in business administration from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
