Robert Cole is founder of RockCheetah, his hotel marketing strategy and travel technology consulting practice that diligently attempts to prove that marketing, travel technology, quality service & profitability can peacefully coexist.
Robert also serves as Phocuswright’s senior research analyst for lodging and leisure travel, as well as senior consultant for J.D. Power. RockCheetah’s clients have included major hotel brands such as Marriott International and Choice Hotels, prominent publishers like National Geographic, and leading global groups like Amadeus IT Group and Cvent. He also advises leading private equity, venture capital and public equity investors in the areas of hospitality, technology and digital distribution.
Highlights of Robert's hospitality experience include heading marketing planning for Four Seasons Hotels, leading Sabre’s hotel line of business, launching dynamic packaging pioneer Neat Group, and overseeing destination product development and contracting for Mark Travel’s fourteen vacation brands.
Robert has been involved in multiple travel industry initiatives, serving on the founding OpenTravel Alliance interoperability committee, HEDNA Board of Directors, HSMAI Marketing Advisory Board and Adrian Awards Platinum/Best of Show judge.
